A World War I Real-Time Strategy Game Where Every Decision Has a Cost.
Moment of Decision: WWI is an independently developed real-time strategy game that puts players in command of British or German forces during the brutal trench warfare of the First World War.
Unlike traditional RTS games, the battlefield isn't static. Players can design and dig their own trench networks, command infantry and artillery, establish defensive positions, and fight for control of strategically important territory.
What makes the game stand out?
Freeform Trench Construction: Draw your own trench networks and watch soldiers physically dig them into the battlefield.
Destructible Battlefields: Artillery tears apart the landscape, creates craters, damages trenches and permanently changes the battlefield.
Tactical Combat: Position infantry, engineers and artillery to exploit terrain, cover and enemy weaknesses.
Dynamic Enemy AI: Face an opponent that builds defenses, advances, attacks and contests strategic objectives.
Authentic WWI Atmosphere: A grounded portrayal of the Western Front, where holding a few metres of ground can come at a devastating cost.
The game is currently in active development, with a working playable build, a live Steam store page and Playtest registration underway.
My vision is to create a WWI strategy experience where the battlefield tells the story of every engagement, every shell and every sacrifice.
The objective is simple. The cost is not.
