- The Storyteller has been rebuilt for more focused, responsive narration. - Existing stories remain playable through the Storyteller upgrade, while new stories receive the latest engine. - Characters, locations, and established scene details now carry forward more reliably when returning after a long absence. - Long-term story memory now recovers and recalls relevant details more reliably without delaying play. - The Storyteller now receives more accurate information about equipped weapons and other character inventory. - Bug fixed: scene images and videos remain in their correct story positions after reloading. - Bug fixed: live scene images are less likely to appear blank, overlap story text, or repeatedly recalculate their layout. - Bug fixed: Undo and reload no longer cause repeated layout loops or crashes in long illustrated stories. - Turn dictation can now record for up to 60 seconds and automatically transcribes when the limit is reached. - Mobile layouts now recover correctly after rotating between portrait and landscape. - Contact Support is now easier to find from account and in-game Settings. - Public game creation options now reflect whether the signed-in account has access to shared play. - The Debt of the Hollow King is no longer available when starting a new story; existing saved stories remain compatible. https://runebook.gg/updates#release-2026.08.15.1
