Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Crewforge (“the platform”, “the service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Crewforge is operated by Bewd Bros Studio, Italy. These Terms are governed by Italian law.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Crewforge. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

You may not use the platform if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information. Impersonating another person or entity is prohibited.
• One account per person. Circumventing a ban by creating a new account is a violation of these Terms.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@crewforge.games if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may use Crewforge to:

• Create and manage a profile as a maker, studio, or player.
• Post and manage game projects, devlog updates, and open roles.
• Apply to roles and communicate with studios through the messaging system.
• Follow projects and studios, and engage with content through likes and comments.

You may not use Crewforge to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• Harvest or scrape user data by automated means.
• Attempt to breach or test the security of the platform without prior written consent.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with platform features.
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.

Regarding NSFW content: where the platform requires users to confirm they are 18 or older to access NSFW areas, that confirmation is made by the user under their own responsibility. Crewforge does not verify age declarations. If you misrepresent your age to access NSFW content, you do so in violation of these Terms. We are not responsible for NSFW content accessed through false age declarations.

You retain ownership of the content you post on Crewforge (profiles, devlogs, comments, cover messages). By posting content, you grant Crewforge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must not post content that:

• Infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive.
• Contains explicit sexual content unless clearly labelled NSFW where the platform permits it.
• Constitutes spam or unsolicited commercial communication.

Studios and makers are expected to act in good faith. This means:

• Role listings must reflect genuine opportunities. Fake or speculative listings are prohibited.
• Studios must respond to applicants in a timely and respectful manner.
• Compensation terms must be stated honestly. “Unpaid” must not be used to disguise revenue share or deferred payment schemes without clear disclosure.
• Roles that are filled or closed must be updated promptly. The platform automatically closes roles after 60 days of inactivity.

The following are expressly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban:

• Harassment, hate speech, or threats directed at any user.
• Spam including mass applications, promotional comments, or unsolicited messages.
• Impersonating another person, studio, or brand.
• Scraping or bulk-collecting user data.
• Attempting to access another user’s account or data.
• Creating accounts after being permanently banned.
• Any activity that violates applicable law.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but we are not obliged to do so in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Crewforge is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or the accuracy of content they post. We do not verify the identity of studios or the authenticity of role listings.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Crewforge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.

EU residents may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/odr.

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
