Crewforge lists three kinds of indie game community: Discord servers verified through OAuth (the owner or an admin signs in and proves their role), subreddits verified the same way via Reddit, and registered associations (trade orgs and non-profits in the indie game industry) verified by uploading a registration document our team reviews. Some communities are hybrid: an indie association that also runs a Discord.
Every listing carries trust signals you can scan: member or subscriber count synced live from the platform, events organised through Crewforge, follower count on Crewforge, founding date, country, languages, and the date the community was verified. Reddit-verified communities also surface a live feed of recent posts on their detail page.
We don't list every Discord in the world. We list the ones run by people who organise events, ship indie games, or hold the scene together. Want yours here? See how verification works.
